On March, 31, 2022, DSP Real Estate Capital, LLC acquired Sterlingwood Apartments,  a 162-unit Garden style apartment community located in the suburbs of Roanoke, Virginia.  Originally constructed in 1973, Sterlingwood Apartments benefits from near 100% occupancy rate and its close proximity to William Fleming High School, I-581 and US 220. The property marks the fourth acquisition for the firm in its short time since creation, the second in Roanoke. On the transaction, DSP Real Estate Capital LLC was represented by Stephen Karbelk, CENTURY 21 Commercial New Millennium and Drew White & Carter Wood, Berkadia.  Phil Brannigan, Berkadia Capital Markets, secured the Freddie Mac financing.  DSP was represented by Alan Frieden, Esq & Scott Seary, Esq. with Faggert & Freiden, PC, Virginia Beach, VA.  The escrow and closing was managed by Amir Raminpour, Esq., RL Title & Escrow, McLean, Virginia
