Purna manages the investment decisions and investor relations firmwide. For the past decade, Purna has been successfully investing in land that lies in the path of growth, re-zoning for maximum value and re-selling the property for profitable returns. His investment strategy requires significant due diligence and underwriting knowledge, all of which he applies to our multi-family acquisition strategy. As an entrepreneur, Purna has been consistently achieving double-digit growth in his business investments by adding new clients year over year.

Stephen Karbelk

Stephen oversees that acquisition and long-range planning functions. Since 1990, Stephen has been full-time in the real estate business, with transaction experience among all types of commercial real estate asset classes. With over $750 million in career transactions, Stephen has significant experience to bring to every transaction we evaluate. A valuable part of our underwriting process is his relationship with Century 21. Stephen’s real estate team was the #5 Century 21 team in the United States (2019). Stephen is also responsible for managing over 20 commercial agents in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC as the Director, Century 21 Commercial New Millennium. Darius Saeidi
Partner
Darius oversees the day-to-day operational activities and implementation of the vision, goals and strategic plan of the company. For the past seven years, Darius has been in the commercial banking business, sourcing and underwriting business and commercial asset transactions. Through his banking experience, he has developed a depth of knowledge regarding financing and reporting analysis to identify value add opportunities and investment risks that need to be isolated or mitigated if the transaction proceeds to closing. Najeem (Jim) Ebadi
Director of Acquisitions
Jim oversees the acquisition, financing, and underwriting of DSP Real Estate Capital’s strategic apartment community investments, driving the firm’s growth in emerging markets nationwide. With a strong focus on risk mitigation and strategic deal analysis, Jim plays an integral role in identifying opportunities that align with DSP’s investment objectives. His analytical expertise enables the firm to navigate complex market conditions, ensuring sound decision-making and optimal returns.

Prior to joining DSP, Jim built a distinguished career at Greystone, the nation’s premier multifamily lending institution. There, he structured and underwrote over $250 million in financing for apartment communities through FHA, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac loan products. His extensive experience across the Mid-Atlantic and Sunbelt markets, combined with a disciplined approach to investment, positions Jim as a key contributor to DSP’s continued success, helping the firm strategically assess and execute high-value deals while minimizing risk.

Chris Caylor
Asset Manager

Christopher has recently taken on a new role within DSP as the Asset Manager for the company's apartment portfolio. In this capacity, he plays a vital role in overseeing and optimizing the performance of the portfolio, ensuring its continued growth and success. Christopher brings a wealth of experience and expertise in the real estate industry, having previously served as a member of DSP's Real Estate Analysis Team.
Prior to his current position, Christopher made significant contributions as a junior accountant at Tax & Accounting Services, where he honed his financial acumen and developed a strong foundation in creating cash flow and profitability models. His background in financial analysis combined with his passion for real estate make him an ideal candidate for the role of Asset Manager.
Christopher holds a degree in Political Science with a concentration in United States Political Systems from Georgetown University. While at Georgetown, he also demonstrated exceptional commitment and discipline as a four-year member of the Georgetown football program, earning a place on the Patriot League honor-roll each year.
With his comprehensive understanding of real estate markets and his ability to leverage financial analysis to drive results, Christopher is well-equipped to optimize the performance of DSP's apartment portfolio. As the Asset Manager, he is dedicated to implementing strategic initiatives, maximizing revenue streams, and ensuring the long-term value appreciation of the company's assets. Christopher's diverse background and multifaceted skill set make him a valuable asset to the DSP team and their pursuit of excellence in the real estate industry.
